My Burberry EDT 90ml
Brand : Burberry
The composition of the new fragrance My Burberry opens with sweet peas and citrusy notes of bergamot leading to geranium, freesia flowers and golden quince in the heart. The fragrance is rounded up with patchouli in the base, joined with Damascus and Centifolia rose! The perfumer of the composition My Burberry is Francis Kurkdjian!
Kurkdjian said the fragrance was inspired “by London, an urban garden. You have the vibrancy of the city, so it is something contemporary. You have the garden. You have the flowers…and the art of gardening, which is very important for the British. The flowery aspect of the perfume comes from that idea of the garden after the rain. You have the lush wetness. You have the soil. You have the earthiness. All of these feelings.” As for his choice of notes, he said he wanted to evoke “the feeling of the light of London: clouds, wetness, rain, flowers.” He said the main flowers are roses and freesia, “which is a little bit spicy and adds brightness. Then geranium leaves, which give an herbal, almost minty, vibrancy to the perfume. Then from the back note, there are patchouli leaves and quince—a fruit that is between a pear and an apple. Very British. It is not fruity, fruity. It is fruity floral. Then on top you have linen and bergamot,” he said.
The flacon of the new fragrance My Burberry is made of glass, with a stopper inspired by the button of a Burberry trench coat. The color is honey-beige, also taken from the cult trench. The neck of the bottle features a ribbon made of the same fabric as the Burberry trench from a factory in Castleford, Yorkshire.

7 factors that affect how long your fragrance last
You pay big bucks for your perfumes, but they never seem to last beyond a couple of hours. From choosing the right notes to proper application, here are six factors you never knew that affect the longevity of your fragrance.
1. Do not smell the scent every minute.
Do not smell the scent every minute because you're doubting if it's original or it will last longer hours. Fragrance reacts differently depends on individual body's chemistry and there will be a big possibility that your body will be immune to the scent. You might not smell the scent if you do this after 1 to 2 weeks but other people who are not familiar with the scent can still smell it.
Best Advice: Change your perfume once in a while.
2. Do not store the perfume in less than room temperature and direct sunlight.
Where you keep your scents is very important, as heat and natural light can oxidize the liquid and change its composition. To prevent losing precious notes and altering the fragrance’s smell, store your beautiful bottles in a cool and dark place. It helps keep the perfume as true to its intended smell as possible. The easiest way? Store them in their original boxes. Not only is the packaging beautiful, but also protect your precious perfume from direct sunlight.
3. How moisturized your skin is
If you have dry skin, your fragrance will never be able to last as long as you want it to. The reason? There’s nothing for the fragrance to hang on to, thus making it evaporate even faster. Try using an unscented body lotion or jojoba oil to hydrate your skin before you spritz – it is very similar to our skin’s natural oils and won’t alter your scent’s profile.
4. What season you’re in
The kind of climate you’re in affects both the way your fragrance projects and its lasting power. Cold weather holds stronger, lusher floral notes in check, which is why your tropical perfumes will smell all wrong during winter or autumn. Conversely, lighter scents work better in summer and spring. Heat and humidity also changes the way a perfume smells throughout the day, because heat volatilizes essences faster and humidity makes you sweat more, thus changing the scent’s composition.
5. Where you’re spraying
If you’re looking for a subtle scent all over, try spritzing in your hair or clothes. This creates a diffused scent and hangs far longer than bare skin. But pulse points – areas such as the back of knees, neck, inside of elbows and wrists – emanate more heat than anywhere else and helps release scent throughout the day.
6. How concentrated it is
The longevity of a scent also depends on the amount of oils in its formula. Perfume comes first, with the highest level of oils, followed by eau de parfum, then eau de toilette, with the lowest oil concentration and highest water and alcohol ratio. The less diluted your scent is, the longer it lasts.
7. How you apply it
Do you usually rub your wrists together? Stop doing that, because fragrances are layered on top of one another in complex combinations (another reason why they are so expensive), and the heat and friction released during that action breaks the formula up and shortens it’s lasting power. If you must, try dabbing lightly instead.
I've just recieved my product. At first I was very excited because it was stated that all perfumes are authentic but when I open the product and checked the box there are double sided tape and a scratch from where the tape was being pulled off. There were also some strands from a glue stick. So I compare some of the box of my perfume then there are no tapes or anything that is attach to the box. It is very disappointing.
I was thinking that this is a rejected product from the manufacturer which do not met the quality of such product but the price... is absolutely not worth it.
